KOGEKA is a warm and ambitious school community of six schools (five secondary and one primary school) located in the towns of Geel and Kasterlee, in the heart of the Kempen region in Flanders, Belgium.  

The five secondary schools in our group are Sancta Maria Kasterlee · SMIK , Sint Aloysius Geel, Sint Dimpna Geel · College , Sint Jozef Geel and Sint Maria Geel. Each school offers specific fields of study. However, they are all united by the same values and vision on education. We offer high quality education to over 5,000 pupils (12 to 19-year-olds), providing each pupil with sufficient space to grow and learn in an inspiring and motivating environment. 

Internationalisation is in our DNA. It has been at the core of our daily school life ever since we organised our first international project in 1992. We have been organising numerous European internships and exchange programmes in a wide variety of fields for over three decades. Worldwide partners have become friends and the European Commission has awarded our merit in this field with a certificate of excellence. 

In every project we are involved in, whether it be as a partner or coordinator, we always promise honest and clear communication, a professional organisation, warm and genuine contacts … oh, and of course: lots of Belgian chocolates!
